While the Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) aims to strengthen Singaporean core in the country’s workforce, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), recognising the practical concerns of businesses have made certain exemptions. These include firms with 10 or fewer employees, jobs with monthly salary of S$20,000 or above, jobs for short-term contingencies or jobs to be filled by intra-corporate transferees (senior executives or those with advanced level of expertise).
