The S Pass is for mid-skilled foreigners (e.g. technicians). Applicants are assessed on a points system according to certain criteria. In general, these include the following:
- Fixed monthly salary of at least S$3,150 effective from 1st Sept 2023 for new applicants, progressively increasing up to S$4,650 for those aged 45 and up
- New applicants in the financial services industry must have a fixed monthly pay of at least S$3,650, progressively increasing up to S$5,650 for those aged 45 and up
- Educational qualifications
- A degree, diploma, or technical certificate can be considered. The certification should comprise at least one year of full-time study.
