To qualify, an applicant must earn a fixed monthly salary of at least S$5,000 and have a good educational or professional background. In addition, an EP applicant in the financial sector must earn a minimum fixed monthly salary of S$5,500.
Who can apply for the Employment Pass?
The Singapore Employment Pass application can be made only by the employer. Hence, its validity is tied to the same employer. Consequently, a change in employers or jobs will require a new pass application.
